Hi, I am Colton

I am the man behind the camera at Revolution Boudoir Photography. Growing up in a small town I spent a lot of my life escaping to the rugged mountains, rivers, and high-desert that surround the area. From mother nature I learned beauty comes in many forms. Sometimes beauty is soft like the sunshine falling on forest foliage, other times beauty manifests in the fierceness of raging waters. I wanted to share those moments of hidden beauty with others, and Revolution Photography was born.

As my career evolved I wanted to help people see their own inner-beauty, and Revolution Boudoir Photography became the obvious choice. I love helping people shed false ideals of beauty - the lens society paints -so they rediscover who they were before society told them what and who to be. I love capturing raw emotion and showing my clients through a different, more honest lens, their most unique and genuine selves. When I’m not behind the camera, I can still be found exploring the world with my two amazing daughters.

My Beliefs

I believe that everyone is unique and is special. Everyone one has their own struggles whether it be with self confidence or self-esteem or body image issues. Society seems to think that beauty only looks one way. And I am here to tell you they are wrong! Beauty comes in all sizes, shapes and color. It doesn’t have an age. Boudoir Photography is my passion. I believe no one has the right to judge you. I am one of the most opened minded people you will meet.

My Philosophy

You only get to live this life once, and once is never long enough. How do you want to spend your precious time? Hating yourself? Being shameful of your body? Following all of society's insane and impossible standards? Happiness should be our main focus and we need to take every step to achieve it without feeling guilty or selfish. We all need to love our natural selves and stop apologizing for the body we were given and start embracing it. Don't worry about if people think you're beautiful. Don't worry about if people like you. It's not their job to like you. It's yours.

My Goal

My focus with boudoir photography is to show every day men and women - husbands, brothers, mothers, wives - that they are beautiful and strong. My goal is to help people learn to strip down to who they were before society told them what and who to be. I want my clients to look at their photos and see a strong person who has overcome so much and can now truly enjoy their body.
